Pride
Taking pride in one’s work should go without saying, but being proud of everything you do is uncommon in today’s world of business. We take pride in our staff, our equipment, our workmanship - and most importantly in the outcomes we deliver.
Passion
A wise man once said “Do it with passion or not at all”. We couldn’t agree more, and again this isn’t something you can simply turn the switch on or off - it comes from within. We are passionate about our industry and delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Persistence
The best way out is always through, and when it comes to earthworks - that couldn’t be more true. We instil and encourage persistence within our team to ensure that each job is completed to a high standard no matter what obstacles arise.
I chose the name P3 based on others’ feedback more than anything else. Those three words featured in almost all the feedback, whether from employers, colleagues or our very first clients. In my experience, few operators or companies were founded on specific values, so we decided from day one that engaging P3 as your earthworks contractor would mean more than simply getting a job done.
I was always interested in machines, even in my younger years - I remember taking days off school to watch them operate in the neighbours’ paddock! My first job in the earthworks industry was for my uncle, driving tractors while I was still at school. It was at age 17; however, when I started working full time for a large-scale earth moving company, I learnt invaluable skills working on aging machinery with “old school'“ operators over the following five years.
After moving to Western Australia at the age of 22 with the hopes of landing a job in the mining industry, I was fortunate enough to be offered a challenging and highly sought-after position with a large civil earthworks firm who were operating in the mining arena. I spent a further five years in Western Australia before moving back to BOP NZ to take what I had learnt and form “P3 Earthworks.”
